"Tomorrow is Christmas, its practically here!" (Not quite. But anyway.)

Hey peeps! So, obviously, its almost Christmas. Just a few days away! I can't wait. But I'm a little sad-Soon all the happy, holiday season-ness, will all be gone. Then we'll all go back to our normal lives. Work, church, (Piano, for me.) all that stuff. Kinda sad, really. Anyway. Back to the Christmas festivies! From the picture above, I obviously like The Grinch. You know, the Christmas special we all know and love. Its always been my FAVORITE Christmas special. I'm not sure why, I just always loved it. And up until recently, (a few moments ago..) I never really got the 'lesson'. So, here it is: During the special, it talks about the Grinch HATING Christmas (which I find nearly impossible to do, in my opinion.). And during the half-hour, he steals all of the town's folk's Christmas decorations (Because he thinks if he gets rid of all the stuff, it'll get rid of all the Christmas spirit, also.). And right as he is about to throw it off a cliff, (very original..) he hears the people down below (The Who's.) singing. Which made, "his heart grow 3 sizes, that day.". So, he then returned all the Christmas stuff, realizing the true meaning of Christmas. Of which, is: Christmas ain't about presents, decorations, all that mumbo-jumbo. Its about LOVE. Which I completely agree with. It IS about love! What kind of love, you ask? Jesus' love to US. (I know I've talked about this about 8,000 times already, just trying to get the point across.) (I kinda doubt The Grinch talks about the same love that I'm talking about, but I'm just sayin'.) ANYWAYS. Lets get back to my Beth Moore sermon. Jesus' love is the ONLY thing that "grow's our heart's 3 sizes". He's the ONLY thing that will put that Christmas spirit into us! So, basically, my point is: Its Jesus' way, or the highway (trust me, you do NOT want to go down the highway. It ain't pretty.)
Well, that concludes the longest 'Grinch' blog post ever. Thanks for listening to me ramble. ;)

Bonjour Peeps! Welcome to December! The most wonderful time of the year. Don't you just love December? I sure do. I love the Christmas music, the Starbucks Hot Chocolate, the Christmas shopping (I mean, who doesn't love Christmas shopping?!), seeing the family, all of it! I love everything about December (except the coldness...lucky Australian's.). What do you like about December? My favorite part is Christmas-Celebrating the birth of our Savior. "This is your life, are you who you wanna be?"

Hey peeps! So the other day, I was sitting in the car on the way home from a day of shopping, and Audrey was asleep, so I decided to turn on my iPod. And as always, I shuffled it, and Switchfoot came up (I mostly have Switchfoot songs on my iPod...go figure.), which I was quite excited about. And it was one of my favorite songs, "This is your life". So it was starting..."Yesterday is a wrinkle on your forehead.." (First part of the song.) And it went on, and once it reached the chorus, I felt as if the words hit me harder this time. It goes: "This is your life, are you who you wanna be? This is your life, are you who you wanna be? This is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be? When the world was younger, and you had everything to lose." The first part, "Are you who you wanna be?" really sunk in for me. Am I who I want to be? I've been thinking about that for days now, and still haven't come up with an answer. Am I REALLY who I want to be? In some areas, I would say yes. In some, not so much. I could go on and on about my highs and lows, but I shan't, since ya'll probably have lives. But, I do know what can make me who I want to be. JESUS PEOPLE. Before him, I was a sinner lost and confussed (I was 3, but still.). But now, I am (almost) who I wanna be! So I shall leave ya'll with one question: Are you who you wanna be?

Hey Peeps! HAPPY (late) THANKSGIVING! Hope ya'll had an awesome day. I did, I had lots of food and what-not. :P So, the holidays are approching, so I'm sure most of you are decking your halls, making your Christmas List's (Hehehe..), and attempting to get a good family photo for your Christmas card. I love the holiday season. I love listening to Christmas music, writing out all my Christmas cards, seeing family, and sitting in front of the Christmas tree staring at the ornaments sparkle next to the lights. But honestly, none of that matters. Its not what Christmas is about. Yeah, I know what your thinking. Your thinking: "Oh here comes the whole 'Christmas isn't about presents' lecture." Ready or not here it comes. CHRISTmas IS NOT about presents, candy canes, holiday music, any of that stuff. Its about celebrating the birth of our Savior. And unfortunatley, alot of people don't get that. Alot of people DO think its about presents, christmas music, christmas cards, all that stuff. Its quite sad, really. So, this Christmas, I'm going to try to put the CHRIST in CHRISTmas more. Not gonna worry about buying the most presents, eating the most candy canes, any of that junk. I'm going to put Christ first. What are you going to do to put Christ first this Christmas? Hope ya'll had a nice Turkey Day! Oh, by the way, above is my Christmas Card picture that I edited on www.picnik.com. Hey peeps! Yes, I am alive, shockingly enough. Not alot has happened since my last blog post, just taking care of a girl, piano, etc. Since I was gone, it turned November! Happy November people. Can you believe its November already?! I'm just getting used to writing down '2010' rather then '2009'. Ugh. Yes, I am alive!

Hi peeps! Sorry I haven't blogged in so long, I've been quite busy. Plus, I didn't really want to post another post, since Jon Foreman was at the top. ;) Anyway, in the past couple weeks, I have done lots of fun stuff. Hey peeps! Guess what? As you might have noticed, my Aunt Shannon cut her hair!!!
So as ya'll know, last summer, I cut my hair. What you might not have known, was my Aunt Shannon and I both agreed to cut our hair and donate it. And I did mine a few days later. ;) So, today, my Aunt Shannon finally cut her hair! Woo! So Aunt Shannon, thank you very much. Now we match. Ish. :)

The Bummer About Swimming.

Hey peeps! How have you been? Hope ya'll have been good. Myself, not so good. Here is the bummer about swimming: swimmers ear.
So, sometime around last week, my right ear started hurting. So about 3 days later, Daddy took me to The Doctor. (Because the ear was affecting my sleep.) So we went to The Doctor, and apparently, I have swimmers ear, but only in my right ear. (Which I was happy about.). So, The Doctor gave us some ear drops to put in my ear, and all would be good. (Sure..) So, the next day, the left ear starts hurting. (Shoot me.) So, Momma called the Doctor on Wednesday, and she said to put the drops in both ears. (Oh for cryin' out loud!) So, present day, my right ear feels almost back to normal. (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU LORD!) But the left ear still hurts. (Not as much, but still hurts.) And I have a busy week ahead, so please pray I pull through. :P Thanks. ;D

Awesome things to come!

Hai peeps! How are ya? I'm awesome. So, I'm going to be doing alot of fun stuff in the coming weeks. First of all, AWANA is starting on Septemeber 1st-And its my first year being a leader! AND...I recently found out that our church has AWANA books for high schoolers- So I'll be doing books again this year! YAY! :D Moving on, I have Piano lessons starting September 2. (Two awesome days in a row. :P) Which is very exciting. :)

Neon Pinkness!

Hello peeps! Guess what? If you have lived during the 80's, I'm sure you know about the color 'Neon Pink'. Well, I'm in love with it. So, I've been on a hunt to find anything neon pink. (Now totally off subject) I was also looking for some Converse sneakers (Which is the style shown above.). So the other day when we where shopping in T.G. Maxx, I thought I was going to die when I found NEON PINK CONVERSE. (AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!) So now they are my favorite shoes. :P Also, I found a neon pink headband at JCrew, so now I am a total reject from the 80's, and I LOVE IT. I am happy slappy. I'll blog again soon!

Hey Peeps. Have any of y'all heard of the website, Horse Isle? Well, I've been doing it for just over a year now, and I'm sorta addicted. Its sorta facebook-ish, as in, you can talk to other real people, and you can do games, make money, buy horses, etc. And I've become quite addicted to it. Its soo fun. :P Anyways, do any of y'all of idea's to sorta, break my addiction? I'm sorta on almost all day. :P If y'all have any ideas, it would be much appreciated. I'll blog again soon!

Hi peeps. I'm guessing most of you have heard about the new T-w-i-l-i-g-h-t movie, Eclipse. YUCK. I will NEVER know how people find a Vampire and a Werewolf fighting over a girl is entertaining! Its like, snoozeville. I'd rather eat dirt then watch that movie. And is it just me, or does Robert Pattinson need a tan?! He is PALE AS DIRT. And how on earth did Taylor Lautner end up on T-w-i-l-i-g-h-t?! What happened to the Sharkboy we all know and love? Ugh. What is our world coming to? Anyways, thats just my opinion.
